As an Expert Rater, you’ll play a vital role in training AI systems to better understand the world. Your work helps fine-tune how language models respond to real-world queries, from search engine results to ad relevance and semantic comprehension. Every decision you make will directly contribute to building smarter, more human-like AI. This is a remote, full-time position requiring fluency in both Dutch and English (minimum B2 level).
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will assess relationships between user queries and advertiser keywords, determine semantic containment, and ensure ratings align with defined guidelines. Your work will directly contribute to improving large language models (LLMs) and machine learning systems.
Analyze query–keyword pairs to determine if the user query is semantically contained in the advertiser keyword using specific guidelines
Label data accurately within the client’s rating platform, contributing to the development of AI systems for natural language understanding and ad relevance.
Perform related tasks such as search engine results page (SERP) analysis, user intent assessment, and side search relevance checks.
Apply critical thinking and semantic reasoning to detect meaning shifts, intent differences, and subtle variations in language use.
Follow strict quality and productivity targets while working independently in a remote setting.
Stay aligned with evolving language trends and maintain objectivity by avoiding personal bias in assessments.

Required Knowledge:

Comfortable working independently under a fixed schedule in a remote environment.
Desirable Studies & Experience:
Prior experience in data labeling, query analysis, search evaluation, or similar annotation work.
Academic background or professional experience in:
Psychology – understanding bias, decision-making, and cognitive patterns
Data Science / Analytics – pattern recognition, structured logic
Business Administration – evaluating commercial intent, market relevance
Work Setup:
Remote, full-time position with a fixed daily shift.
