Role Summary
This role is for an internship position within the Advanced Process Control (APC) department, which works with mine sites worldwide, both remotely and on-site, to deploy, integrate, and support optimization solutions that improve operational performance. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn, is interested in process optimization and industrial systems, and is eager to gain hands-on experience while supporting project activities, data analysis, and collaboration with a global team of engineers and consultants.
Essential Responsibilities
Support the existing integrated "smart instruments";
Support the existing Advanced Regulatory Control applications and Expert Systems;
Support the production of technical documentation and data analysis;
Support Processmodeling and simulation
Qualifications/Requirements
Live or have the availability to live or work in Belo Horizonte 3x week
Education: Under graduation in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mining Engineering or related fields
English: Intermediate to advanced
Basic understanding of engineering principles (processes, systems, or automation)
Interest or coursework in process control, automation, optimization, and data analysis
Analytical mindset and ability to work with data
Knowledge in Excel and Power BI
Basic programming logic knowledge is a plus.
Ability to understand and document technical information
