Key Responsibilities
· Design and implement MPLS networks using Nokia 7750 SR and 7705 SAR platforms.
· Configure and maintain DWDM/OTN systems using Nokia 1830 PSS.
· Perform network provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting across IP and optical layers.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network migrations from legacy SONET/TDM to MPLS/DWDM.
· Monitor network performance and optimize routing and wavelength assignments.
· Maintain and update network documentation and configuration standards.
· Interface with Nokia support and vendors for escalations and firmware upgrades.
📚 Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong hands-on experience with Nokia IP/MPLS platforms (7750 SR, 7705 SAR).
· Deep understanding of DWDM, OTN, and optical transport technologies.
· Familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing).
· Experience with network management tools like Nokia NSP (Network Services Platform).
· Proficiency in troubleshooting tools (OTDR, spectrum analyzers, Wireshark).
· Certifications such as NRS I/II (Nokia Network Routing Specialist) are a plus.
· Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
