About the Role
As a Lead AI Engineer at Elastacloud, you will lead a team of talented AI engineers to architect and deploy AI-driven solutions across various industries. You will be responsible for developing AI strategies, ensuring the successful execution of AI projects, and overseeing the development of AI tools and platforms. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, guide AI solution design, and ensure that Elastacloud remains at the forefront of AI innovation.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing AI engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Provide technical leadership in AI technologies, ensuring best practices in development, deployment, and maintenance.
Proactively contribute to AI thought leadership and advocacy efforts through a variety of engagements within Elastacloud, at conferences, meetups and hackathons.
AI Solution Design & Development:
Oversee the end-to-end development and implementation of AI solutions and systems for clients across various sectors.
Propose a broad spectrum of different ideas to complex problems, with the ability to quickly test and iterate to identify the best performing solution.
Collaborate with Data Science, Cloud Engineering and UI designers and developers to design scalable, cloud-based AI architectures.
Stay ahead of the latest AI trends and technologies to continuously improve Elastacloud’s AI offerings.
Client Engagement & Project Delivery:
Work with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives, translating them into AI-driven solutions.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of AI projects, maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and impact.
Present AI strategies, solutions, and project outcomes to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Nurture client relationships, whilst building credibility and trust through consistent high-quality delivery.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI solutions, ensuring they perform reliably at scale.
Develop frameworks and processes to ensure AI models are robust, explainable, and aligned with regulatory standards.
Manage the AI project pipeline, including resource planning and budgeting.
Qualifications
Proven experience in AI/ML leadership roles, ideally in consultancy or enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in AI/ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Py Torch, Scikit-learn).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native AI/ML architectures.
Track record of leading and delivering large-scale AI solutions from concept to production.
Deep understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle management, including explainability, ethics, and fairness in AI.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to business leaders.
Proficiency in Python, C#, Javascript.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies and distributed computing is a plus.
Advanced or fluent English is a MUST.
