We are seeking a full-time
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
with 5-8 years of manual testing experience to join the software engineering team for our U. S.-based client. Primary duties include testing new feature enhancements, maintaining test cases, and overall regression testing. This key individual should have experience making decisions and working independently and as part of a small, dynamic team where everything you do makes a difference.

Responsibilities
Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing with stakeholders
Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements in the software application
Configure test environments to execute required test cases
Define, execute, and analyze test plans and cases
Conduct review meetings to share test case status, discuss concerns and risk items, drive comprehensive test coverage, and assure general team alignment
Collaborate with the team to validate acceptance criteria achievement
Track defect and bug resolution progress and results using the client defect tracking system
Work well under pressure with deadlines
Display flexibility and proficiency at setting priorities
Required Experience
Excellent English communication skills
5 years of manual QA testing experience, including functional, bug verification, regression, user acceptance, user experience, integration, performance, security, acceptance, smoke testing, sanity testing, and load testing
Experience with API and Backend/Database validation methodologies
Experienced with the complete software testing lifecycle, including test planning, test analysis, test design, test environment setup, test execution, test closure, and defect retesting
Basic test automation knowledge - understanding the key concepts such as strategies and types
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
A positive attitude, always looking to empower the success of others

Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent
Desired Experience
University degree or relevant industry experience (ideally a technical or engineering degree)
Familiarity with the oil & gas industry
