Senior Magento Developer (Magento 2 / Performance Focus) | Remote

QAT Global, a QAT Global US-based IT consulting firm with more than 30 years in the market, is hiring a Senior Magento Developer in Brazil to join an international project supporting a US client.

This professional will work directly with client stakeholders in the US and collaborate with distributed teams across Brazil, Costa Rica, and the United States, contributing to performance improvements, technical analysis, and long-term platform stability in a complex Magento environment.

Location: 100% Remote (Brazil)

Hiring Model: CLT only

Main Challenges:

Analyze and improve performance across the Magento platform, identifying backend, database, and front-end bottlenecks
Review legacy customizations and refactor technical debt impacting platform efficiency
Optimize Java Script execution and storefront rendering performance
Evaluate modules, extensions, and integrations according to Magento best practices
Support code deployment and version control using Git Hub and CI/CD workflows
Investigate root causes of production issues and propose scalable technical solutions
Contribute with architectural recommendations focused on scalability, maintainability, and security

Required Experience:

Strong professional experience with Magento development (Magento 2 strongly preferred)
Strong expertise in Magento architecture, module development, and customizations
Proven experience troubleshooting performance issues and legacy code problems
Solid knowledge of Java Script performance optimization in Magento storefronts
Strong experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS, and codebase improvement
Experience with repository management and deployment workflows using Git Hub
Ability to work directly with technical teams and client stakeholders in English

Magento caching and database optimization
CI/CD and Dev Ops practices
Code audits and technical health assessments
Large-scale e-commerce environments
