As an SAP Integration Specialist , you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our SAP integration landscape. You will monitor and optimize high-volume interfaces while working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to support seamless data exchange across systems.
Your role will focus on interface operations, data flow optimization, and the development and enforcement of integration standards within a complex and highly interconnected SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, control, and optimize interfaces (IDocs, q RFC, EWM queues) within the live system landscape (approx. 6.5 million IDocs/year)
Ensure stable and efficient system operations through proactive monitoring and issue resolution
Analyze interface errors, data inconsistencies, and performance issues, and implement sustainable solutions
Collaborate closely with consulting, application development, system operations, and external partners (e.g., Seeburger)
Drive process improvements and contribute to the continuous optimization of integration scenarios
Define, maintain, and enforce cross-application standards and guidelines (e.g., development guidelines, authorization concepts, interface standards)
Support and govern data exchange processes across SAP and non-SAP systems
Analyze structured data and perform mapping between different systems and formats
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Strong understanding of SAP integration architectures and common interface technologies (e.g., IDoc, ALE, BAPI, Web Services)
Experience in analyzing structured data and performing data mapping
Good knowledge of structured data formats such as EDIFACT, ZUGFe RD, ARIBA, and related data transformation tools
Solid programming knowledge in ABAP/OO, SQL, and backend integration (ideally with UI5 exposure)
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, especially in logistics and enterprise value chains
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional and international teams
