Position: Javascript/React Software Developer – Contractor

Location: Remote – Brazil

Contract Type: Service Contract (PJ/Freelancer)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Software Developer with strong expertise in Javascript and React and proven web programming experience. The ideal candidate is also comfortable working with other programming languages, has advanced coding skills, and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities:
Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code following best development practices.
Create website layouts and user interfaces using modern HTML/CSS standards.
Integrate data from multiple back-end services and databases.
Develop back-end services using Node.js.
Work with other programming languages as required.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to projects.
Collaborate with designers to ensure visual design alignment.
Preferred: experience with mobile development (i OS/Android) or React Native.

Requirements & Skills:
Solid experience in Javascript, React, and Node.js.
Strong programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
Understanding of web application functionality, including security and best practices.
Proven track record in web programming.
Knowledge of relational databases, object-oriented programming, and web application development.
Problem-solving and creative diagnosis skills.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Haves / Differentials:
Experience with Web3, MERN stack (Mongo DB, Express, React, Node.js).
Mobile app development and integration with hardware SDKs, drones, or sensors.
Experience with prototyping, algorithms, R&D, QA, and software quality assurance.

Contract Details:
Contractor will work under a service agreement (PJ/Freelancer).
Contractor will issue monthly invoices for services rendered.
No employment relationship (CLT), and no employment benefits (transportation, vacation, 13th salary, etc.) are provided.
Flexible hours and autonomy in executing tasks, while meeting project deadlines and deliverables.
