Dev Ops Engineer

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to support CI/CD pipelines, improve automation, and ensure the reliability of production systems. You'll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments, enhance performance, and maintain secure, scalable environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and improve build/deployment pipelines.
Administer Azure Dev Ops (permissions, branching, policies).
Support deployments using tools like Octopus Deploy.
Troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
Monitor production environments and coordinate upgrades.
Implement automation to reduce technical debt and improve CI/CD efficiency.
Assist with infrastructure management using Chef, Terraform, or similar tools.
Maintain documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Microsoft system administration experience.
Active Directory, Windows Server, and IIS knowledge.
Familiarity with. NET environments and Git.
Power Shell scripting skills.
Linux administration experience.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Chef/Terraform).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in agile development environments.
